In Year 4 we are becoming Forest Rescuers. When we arrived in school we discovered our classrooms had been transformed into Rainforests. By exploring these rainforests, we discovered many amazing facts about them, but also some disturbing ones too. The rainforests are the lungs of the world but they are being destroyed at an alarming rate.
During our Friday Challenge sessions children in Year 4 have been taking part in archery sessions with their class teacher. They have displayed excellent skills of communication and collaboration whist setting up the equipment. The children have also shown great resilience and good humour if they missed the target. The sessions will culminate in a class competition at the end of this half term.
