Well, what a morning year one had on Thursday. It all started with the children getting onto a coach and taking a trip into Worcester, to the Swan Theatre. Some of the children wee
feeling a little nervoius about this as they have never been to a theatre before. In they all went and sat down ready for the performance to start, and then who comes onto stage but
the Smed’s and The Smoo’s.
It was amazing.
The children all sat with their eyes fixated on the stage, wondering what was going to happen next.
At the end the children were clapping
and saying how much they had enjoyed it.
Those children that were nervous at the start definitely weren’t by the end.
The staff would say this has been a very lovely and enjoyable experience for Year One, and as one child reported, "This has been the best ever day in Year 1!"
