Oh no, it's a Gruffalo...
Over the past 2 weeks our Year 1 children have really impressed us with their writing skills. Last week they wrote excellent descriptions of the the Gruffalo's new home and this week they have re-told the story of the Gruffalo in their own words. We have learnt to use sequencing words and have used pictures from the story to help us order the events of the story correctly and then write sentences. We have been so impressed with the children's use of capital letters and full stops, as well as their understanding of the story.
