In Year 1 we have been busy settling in! We have enjoyed the books Tilda Tries Again and After The Fall, which both have the theme of resilience. Year 1 have been practising trying again and not giving up through a range of activities. In construction, Tommy made a giraffe which was very imaginative! Henri made a wall for Humpty Dumpty, inspired by our book After The Fall, which had steps to help him be safe in future. We have used watercolours in art, explored numbers to 10 in Maths and in writing, we have been making simple sentences. Year 1 have also had fun in the Kitchen and outdoor area!
