Year 1 – Have you seen the bear?
Year One went looking for bears on Friday 10th January 2020 at Birmingham Town Hall. We were joined by parents, teachers, Teaching Assistants and volunteers to watch ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ by Michael Rosen. We enjoyed the experience of travelling to Birmingham by coach, seeing all the construction that was taking place along the way as well as the play itself.
The actors told the story beautifully using paint for
mud, ribbons for grass and even spraying us with water when they went through
the river. They found the bear in the
end but we think the bear was more scared of them than they were of the bear!
