Year 1 have been completing some fantastic work all linked to their celebrations and firework topic. We have been learning about the Gun Powder Plot and Guy Fawkes in History and this week we enjoyed an outdoor learning day. Our outdoor learning day involved the children creating firework dances, a chalk firework display on the playground and firework scenery pictures. We also learnt the story of Rama and Sita and completed other work on the Hindu festival of light, Diwali, such as making rangoli patterns and Diva lamps.
