Animal Antics in Year 1
In Year 1 we have been reading the text ‘What would you do with a tail like this?’ We have read the text and identified the verbs. Then we have replaced the verbs and created actions to represent the new sentences we have made.
We have also been learning to use a question mark when writing questions and conjunctions to join sentences together. We have looked at examples of non-chronological reports and identified the features. We will then use this to help us to write our own reports about animals.
We had a visit from ZooLab which was fantastic!
