All Aboard we are London Bound!
This half term Year 1 have been finding out all about London and the Great Fire of 1666. We have been working for the Mayor of London to create an information pack for the Museum of London so we had to go on a day trip!
Luckily for us our teachers are also a coach and underground train drivers, as they took us on an imaginary trip from Redditch to Central London all within our English lesson. We visited the famous London landmarks of the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, London Eye, Tower of London, Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace – we even got a wave from the King.
We gathered information about the sights to use in our writing later in the week. It was busy but exciting day.
