The children in Reception have loved exploring our new topic of mini beasts this week.
They have spent time identifying and classifying different mini beasts and they went on a mini beast hunt in Forest School earlier in the week. They were very excited to find all kinds of insects hiding under logs, amongst the leaves and on the flowers.
When we returned to the classroom, we had a go at writing our own riddles and our friends had to guess which mini beast our clues were based on. I think you will agree, the children did a fantastic job!
