Reception have been going on some exciting journeys!
We travelled to the continent of Africa, where we learned about famous landmarks and about the different animals that live there. We found out lots of different facts about Africa, sorting those facts from opinions. We sorted animals into African and British animals, used water colours to paint our own African sunsets and labelled different African animals. We enjoyed using the animals to act out our own stories too.
In another class we took a trip under the ocean to see what we could find. The children have been busy creating watercolour paintings of their favourite sea creatures, exploring information books and designing and creating their own submarines.
